E-MAIL ACTION NETWORK
Our Email Action Network is a service we provide to everyone, free
of charge, who would like to take a more active role in conserving
our nation's fisheries. The Network sends brief
(2-3 paragraphs) periodic updates and action alerts about fish and
fishing related issues directly to your email address. We have 7
lists available, depending on what interests you (see choices below).
Our purpose is to keep interested people informed on the issues,
and notify you of opportunities when you can take an active role
in conserving fisheries by weighing in with public officials. Someone
signed up for all 7 lists can expect an average of 3 emails per
month.
Example of an action alert item: NOAA Fisheries
is making changes to fishing regulations for a (particular species
in your area), and has opened up a 60 day comment period. . . The
alert will contain specific instructions on how to comment, to whom
and when, with suggested points to make.
Example of an update: NOAA Fisheries just approved the South
Atlantic Fishery Management Council's dolphin/wahoo fishery management
plan. . .
OUR PRIVACY POLICY: We are
mindful of the volume of e-mail you receive each day and will provide
you only with the information described above. In addition, we respect
your privacy. Your e-mail address will only be used for E-mail Action
Network purposes. E-mail lists will not contain visible e-mail addresses,
so others on the list will not see your address. NCMC never sells

Each email you receive will include a link to a subscription
