The National Coalition for Marine Conservation (NCMC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization under the federal tax code. We receive funding from both our members and charitable foundations. Our members include conservation-minded fishermen, scientists, divers, boaters, fishing clubs and associations, students, and wildlife enthusiasts. In addition, all proceeds from sales of books and merchandise go to support our conservation programs.
We are very grateful to the many foundations that help fund our conservation work. Among them are:
- Friends of Fish Foundation
- Mostyn Foundation
- The Curtis & Edith Munson Foundation
- The Norcross Wildlife Foundation
- The David & Lucile Packard Foundation
- The Pew Charitable Trusts
- Surdna Foundation
